We are seeking innovative, focused and practical engineers to join us as we build multiple new services. As a software development engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers, contribute to overall architecture and own and deliver operationally sustainable web services to AWS customers. Along the way, you will learn how to build data-intensive distributed systems and work with some of the
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of hands on experience in software development, including design, implementation, debugging, and support · Expert knowledge of one of the following programming languages: Java, C and C++· Track record of building and delivering mission critical, 24x7 production software systems · Prior experience with high throughput cloud services · Prior experience with one or more of domain specific languages, search, linked data and storage engines will be very helpful · Strong at applying data structures, algorithms, and object oriented
