Are you passionate about shaping the future of Internet of Things (IoT) where billions of smart devices autonomously connect to the cloud? Sounds great. What will I be working on? You will build software that runs on constrained devices, cloud servers, server-less containers, and everything in between. You will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations. Alongside our team, you will create technology that will enable our partners, including CPU/MCU manufacturers and device OEMs, and customers to adopt AWS IoT services at scale. IoT systems consist of physical devices, from cars, light bulbs, sensor grids and more, that connect to the Internet. There will be 50 billion connected devices in 2020 if current trends continue, and any device that consumes electricity can become connected. AWS IoT is a managed cloud platform that lets these connected devices easily and securely interact with cloud applications
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field · 3+ years of software development experience · Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and/or Design (OOD) · Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl · Excellent problem-solving skills. · Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis· Experience with large-scale distributed systems · Experience with Amazon Web Services · An ability to deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems as well as think abstractly · Experience building
