AWS Amplify Framework’s mission is to improve the developer experience of building a mobile app on the AWS cloud so they can focus on building great innovative experiences for their customers. We enable developers to create high-quality apps that are scalable, secure, and highly available by integrating a broad range of AWS services seamlessly into their apps. The Amplify Framework includes a powerful Command Line Interface (CLI) toolchain, JS and Native SDK’s. The AWS Amplify CLI toolchain team is looking for a passionate, hard-working, and committed Software Engineer to improve the app building developer experience on the AWS cloud. The ideal candidate is passionate about new opportunities and has a strong track record of successfully delivering new features and products. A commitment to team work, initiative, and strong communication skills are a must. Creating reliable, scalable, and high performance products requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline · 5+ years of professional software development using modern web development technologies and techniques, including Node.js, JavaScript based frameworks, web services (GraphQL)· Experience building large-scale web services · AWS product experience and development using the AWS platform · Ability to comfortably work in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment · Keen interest in staying current with the latest trends and techniques in the industry · Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering
