Communications Infrastructure team AWS Unified Communications
The AWS Unified Communications Infrastructure team provides globally scaled, high-quality voice and video communications solutions that support hundreds of thousands of Amazonians around the world. Our services touch every element of the business every day: our corporate offices, our customer service teams, fulfillment centers, a diverse development community, and many more. We are looking for a seasoned software development engineer with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming in a Linux-based enterprise environment. You’ll play a key role in architecting, designing, supporting, and enhancing our AWS-based telecommunications infrastructure and lead development of our supporting management applications and APIs. You’ll use and touch a wide range of technologies and systems, including products we’ve built from the ground up as well as commercial software. You’ll help junior engineers develop their skills, and continue to raise the bar and build the future of Amazon. Who are you?
· 5 years' of professional front-end web software development with HTML, CSS, and Javascript · 5 years' of professional experience with service-oriented architecture and web application/services development · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other technical field. · Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl, Ruby or PHP. · Understanding of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis · Experience in building large scale distributed systems · Experience with AWS and other cloud technologies
