· Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science or closely related field · 4+ years of professional experience in software development· Deep knowledge of Internet protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP, and UDP · Thorough understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST · Familiarity with Linux development environment · Experience in TDD techniques and Continuous Integration · Work experience delivering one or more V1 products, ideally in a startup or similar setting · Experience building large-scale web services backed by cloud services, such as AWS · Strong programming
