Come join us in building the next generation of Customer Activity Profile Engine to evaluate compliance risk for customers who operate under the license of Amazon Payment Entities. We enable the payment entities to apply customized and effective diligence controls like screening, identity verification and continuous monitoring to their customers based on risk differentiation. The systems need to scale to the exponential growth in Amazon business and support products such as Selling on Amazon, Login and Pay with Amazon, Mechanical Turk, and certain AWS products. The list is still increasing. You will be an integral part of an exceptionally talented team. You will have an opportunity to conceptualize, design, build, test and own software systems. As a SDE on the team, you will influence the technical direction of the team, working with many different technologies. If you are a sharp software engineer
· A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BS or MS in CS, or related field) · 2+ years of professional experience in building successful production software systems · Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform) · Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills · Ability to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems· Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent with 2 years of industry experience · Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment
