Code Experience (Codex) is looking for an experienced SDE who can build and operate a distributed source code management system and state-of-the-art tools (code browse, code search, code review etc.) for tens of thousands of Amazon developers and AWS developer community. The tools and services receive a traffic of 1000+ transactions per second on a typical day. In this role you'd build sophisticated tools to automate code quality processes and converge the tooling experience for our internal and external developer community. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years relevant work experience · 5+ year experience with one modern programming language such as Java, Ruby, C++, or Perl · Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design · Computer Science fundamentals in data structures · Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis · First-hand working knowledge of webservice design and development best practices· Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers · Knowledge of professional software
