Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an innovation and results-oriented Software Development Engineer to join the Amazon Rekognition team. Amazon Rekognition (https://aws.amazon.com/rekognition/) is a deep learning powered image and video analysis service that tracks people, detects objects, activities and inappropriate content, and recognizes celebrities. Amazon Rekognition Video can detect and recognize faces in live streams. Rekognition Video can also analyze existing video stored in Amazon S3. It returns specific labels of activities, people and faces, and objects with time stamps so you can easily locate the scene in the video. For people and faces, it also returns the bounding box, which is the specific location of the person or face in the frame. Rekognition's easy-to-use APIs are ideal for immediate response for public safety customers, generating search index for media and entertainment customers, and monitoring for smart homes.
