Amazon is looking for a passionate candidate with the proven ability to build and drive the Baby category. The successful candidate will aggressively expand the business by initiating vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, developing promotions, and monitoring and reacting to industry trends. We expect the Senior Vendor Manager to be a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon. You will be an effective leader and communicator, with strong business acumen, acute analytical skills, and the demonstrated ability to use creative thinking and innovation to solve complex problems. You will thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The ideal candidates should have experience in forging and building vendor relationships, planning product cycles, and selling online is preferred. The right candidates will be flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting, have strong analytical skills, and be comfortable with computer databases and tools. He or she must have a proven

· Bachelor Degree (MBA preferred) · · Strategy, finance, or buying/planning background · · Experience in presenting to Senior management. · · Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and/or business development experience · · Experience with business analysis and P and L management · · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation· MBA from a top business school · · Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment · · 5+ years of relevant experience in Consumer Product Goods or Retail is preferred · · Cross-functional
