Halo is one of the largest videogame entertainment franchises in the world. With over 50 million game copies sold, the multi-billion-dollar franchise has revolutionized console gaming and established a new, rich and expansive universe for its devoted fans. 343 Industries is looking for a seasoned Senior UX Designer for the Halo franchise. As a Senior UX Designer, you will help shape and drive user experience best practices across all of Halo's branded experiences. The Senior UX Designer will be accountable for delivering best-in-class experience design and will contribute to the overall efficacy in the design production process, maintain great stakeholder relationships, and help to drive a center of excellence in user experience design within the studio. The ideal candidate is an empathetic design lead and forward-thinker; someone that has hands-on experience crafting large-scale digital products and experiences, who sees design challenges as opportunities and has a demonstrated track record
Responsibilities • Contribute to the vision and best practices of Halo's brand expression • Produce best-in-class Information Architecture, Functional Specifications, UI Frameworks and Wireframes • Provide well-informed User/Market Research and Insights that will help to inform design direction • Conduct effective User Testing and Feedback sessions, and be able to collect and translate feedback back to stakeholders effectively • Collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure user experience design excellence across all digital channels • Present ideas, solutions and drive ideation
Minimum Qualification: • 4+ years' experience in a Senior UX Designer or Experience Design Lead role • A history of successful user experience and/or digital product design for high quality entertainment products, websites and native applications Other Required Qualifications: • Previous experience with console/PC titles with at least one shipped AAA game Bonus or Preferred Qualifications: • A passion for games a plus • Previous experience with large, fiction-rich games or entertainment franchises
