Technical Manager sought to drive delivery of thrilling technology solutions for Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers at AWS events worldwide, including re:Invent, re:Inforce and Summits. This role is part of a Technology Operations team delivering customer-delighting event technology experiences that are both resilient, secure and scalable. You will be responsible for delivering a complete solution for AWS Events, including: software, hardware, networking, and devices. You'll have a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing team with high visibility both with customers and internal executives. This role will be responsible for working with the event operations team to ensure successful deployment of technology across AWS events. Responsibilities include working backwards from events to determine the testing schedule, coordinating and communicating with multiple stakeholders to drive the testing execution and necessary remediation, identifying opportunities to invent
· 5+ years of relevant work experience in product management · 5+ years of relevant work experience in and project management · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable experience · Experience executing long term strategic roadmaps and handle demanding priorities · Ability to conceptualize, scope and execute projects to strict deadlines. · Experience with technology products a plus · Experience in B2B, high-tech products/services preferred. · Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action. · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles
