The Team: The Amazon Point-of-Sale (POS) team is responsible for building the associate and customer experience at Point of Sale Terminals for all Amazon physical retail stores. We started off with Amazon Books, a brick-and-mortar store that offers a curated selection of books, and merchandise such as Amazon devices. These stores provide a magical experience that combines the best parts of a neighborhood bookstore with Amazon.com’s low prices and the expertise of passionate, knowledgeable staff who tailor their approach to the unique needs of each customer and use our systems to do so. We are getting ready to launch new products that will amaze and define how customers interact with us in a brick and mortar setting. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. · 5+ years of experience in technical program/project management. · Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, business owners, and senior business leaders. · Detailed oriented with strong prioritization skills and risk based decision maker · Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy features · Ability to work closely
