The Search Services team in Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a technical program manager (TPM) to manage multiple large-scale programs. Technical Program Managers handle the heavy lifting of making sure that large scale projects and campaigns in AWS are run efficiently and effectively. TPMs handle complex inter-team dependencies and bridge the gaps in technical management. You will need to work with many teams in different domains and location. You will work effectively with engineers, engineering managers, product managers, dev support teams, and customer service teams. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail driven, have excellent problem-solving abilities, have strong business judgment, and demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams. You will have a deep understanding of product design and implementation details and will successfully represent the technical team to senior leadership. · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other similar Engineering degree. · 6+ years of experience in security, software engineering, compliance, or process management work in a highly technical environment. · Experience designing and operating high scale web-applications and/or web-services in production. · Experience in managing complex projects or programs at scale. · Master's Degree in Computer Science or other similar Engineering degree. · Experience running projects and domain expertise related to search, storage, databases, data lakes, and/or log analytics · Experience coordinating projects
