We are looking for someone who is passionate about customers and really thrives in troubleshooting problems across different layers of software and across different components. This person will have experience working with debugging tools, and proficient in writing tools. The role is to help improve the availability, reliability and consistency of response time of Azure Storage service for various workloads. Engineer will work on debugging issues which are impacting availability, reliability and consistency of response time and identify mitigations and long term fixes working with other engineers
Basic requirements: 7+ years of software engineering experience BS, MS, or equivalent experience Preferred requirements: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills Experience in writing code in c++, C#, Java Passion for customers Good collaboration skills Cloud Background check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
