We are looking for a smart, creative, and results-oriented Senior Software Engineer who is interested in taking a key technical leadership role in our organization. In this role, you will act as a trusted part of the technical leadership of our organization, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Legal Technology. As a key influencer in planning strategy, you will bring business and industry context to technology decisions. You will set the standard for engineering excellence across multiple development teams. You will provide guidance and assist teams with architecture decisions and provide solutions that are exemplary in terms of efficiency, stability, extensibility, and the ability to evolve over time. · BS/MS Computer Science/Computer Engineering · 8+ years' experience as a software engineer· Advanced post graduate degrees (M.S., Ph.D.) in Computer Science or a related field · Familiarity with Amazon Web Services or equivalent cloud programming strongly preferred · Be passionate about software innovation · Experience building high scale distributed systems · Experiencing building and maintaining mission-critical enterprise software · Practical experience with software engineering best practices
