Do you have a technical security background and also excel at leading across matrixed organizations and functions? Amazon is seeking a Senior Security Incident Response Analyst who will coordinate across Amazon functions and business units to ensure alignment and effectiveness for the incident response function. The Senior Analyst will ensure that the company is prepared to response effectively and effectively to information security events and that the appropriate processes, procedures and communication plans are maintained and tested periodically. Key Responsibilities: · Gain familiarity with existing Incident Response policies, processes and procedures · Lean about the operations business functions and how systems and software enable customer fulfillment · Analyze logging infrastructure to ensure that the monitoring and alerting have appropriate coverage and capability · Develop communication plans with clearly defined messages prepared for use with the appropriate audiences · Clearly
· Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 5 years of technical security experience · Prior experience as an Incident Response or Security Operations Center analyst · Ability to influence without authority, deal with ambiguity, and establish clear priority and strategy · Ability think and communicate clearly and effectively during a security event · CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar professional information security certification · Experience in a large enterprise environment · Hands-on experience with security solutions (e.g. IPS, IDS , Vulnerability Scanning,
