The Promise Optimization team seeks to identify the optimal delivery option for whatever a customer wants. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join as a senior research scientist for Promise Optimization. As the team's research scientist, you will be responsible for building and implementing optimization algorithms that will help ensure that we are committing our scarce transportation capacity toward its highest value uses. Your solutions will be deployed in software applications worldwide, affecting millions of decisions, to improve the customer experience and ensure efficient allocation of resources. You will also be asked to build production predictive algorithms
· Master's in Operations Research, Statistics, Operations Management or a closely related field · More than 5 years of industrial and/or academic experience in supply chain management, inventory management, operations management, simulation or a closely related field · Applied experience with predictive modeling · Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Scala, Spark and R. · Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating with research, engineering, and product management teams· Ph.D. in Operations Research, Statistics, Operations Management or a closely related field · Expertise
