The successful candidate will join this central team of recruiters to innovate on strategic attraction strategy and engagement. In this role, the individual will focus on hiring within the specialized science areas and must be able to program manage complex sourcing and events based efforts. Recruiters on this team have the unique opportunity to showcase Amazon’s employer brand as the first point of engagement with students by cultivating relationships with academic leaders, candidates, and community
· Bachelor's degree · 5+ years of technical recruiting experience in high volume/high hiring bar environment (corporate and prior university recruiting preferred) · Account management skills - experience partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches while managing customer expectations· Superb verbal and written communication skills · Credibility with renowned, world-class internal and external subject matter experts in academia · Experience influencing senior leadership with data driven recommendations · Ability to understand and convey complexity
