functions and team Sr. Program Manager
Amazon is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager to drive operations focused initiatives within Amazon’s Prime Pantry store. Prime Pantry is a retail format launched to allow Amazon to sustainably sell everyday items in everyday pack sizes to a national audience. Prime Pantry is a store within Amazon.com, offering mainstream consumable items (e.g. 12-packs of Coke, single boxes of Cheerios) with a customer experience that encourages customers to build a basket of items delivered to their door. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving free-cash-flow initiatives and improvements in the tools and systems that Pantry uses to manage inventory and fulfill customer orders. You will drive programs, partnerships, and features that help us fully utilize the Pantry fulfillment network, expand selection and improve profitability. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with multiple functions and teams including FC Operations, Supply Chain Optimization Technology
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Operations, Engineering, Statistics, Marketing, Economics or Finance · 5+ years of professional experience · Professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders · Sound business judgment and strong analytical thinking skills as well as a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results · Proficiency with Excel and project management tools · Understanding of P and Ls· MBA or Master’s degree preferred · Experience delivering highly visible—and effective—customer-facing programs, applications and experiences
