AIR is seeking a highly enthusiastic, motivated, and customer facing Program Manager to be a part of the Amazon Air team to innovate, manage, and create new air-related solutions that drive improved performance, safety and efficiency. This rock star individual will require strong communication skills with managers, peers and team members, both within their immediate department, as well as with other departments and business partners to drive effective and sustainable solutions to complex challenges. This role will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating regular meetings with Amazon Air’s air carrier counterparts responsible for managing weight and balance (W and B) programs and software (SABLE). This individual will be responsible to ensure Amazon and its contractors’ compliance to the carriers’ W and B programs and validation of any changes to the programs and SABLE software. · Bachelor’s degree in aviation, business, operations management, industrial engineering or related field · 3+ years of airline operation experience or demonstrated success of managing vendors performing ground services · 3+ years of airline compliance management experience · 3+ years of aviation weight and balance experience at a supervisory level · Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel.
