The AI+R Privacy team is looking for an experienced Privacy expert to work directly with Microsoft's AI+R engineering teams to make sure our products are privacy compliant. Deep privacy expertise is a requirement for this position. We support over 8000 engineers and researchers working on cutting edge research and products that have broad reach across Microsoft products and are at the forefront of innovation. Products include Bing and Microsoft search platform, Bing Ads, Microsoft News, Microsoft rewards, and hundreds of research projects.
Privacy advisor to engineering and research teams, providing deep privacy expertise on user consent, data collection requirements, data storage and processing. Perform technical privacy reviews across our products that meet privacy requirements and provide alternatives to meet business objectives. Translate privacy policy into actionable engineering requirements Identify and drive privacy program improvements, including process improvements, tooling requirements, and opportunities to improve the experience for engineers.
Strong technical privacy expertise, privacy policy and regulatory landscape, including GDPR. Extensive experience performing privacy reviews. 5+ years professional experience in privacy consulting on software products, a dedicated privacy function or equivalent experience 5+ years professional program management experience building software solutions 4-year degree in computer science or closely related discipline, or equivalent experience Cross-group collaboration skills, with experience working directly with engineering teams.
