NExT is the big bet factory for Microsoft, charged with delivering new research powered technologies, products and experiences (eg: foundational machine learning techniques like RESNET, next-gen experiences like Skype speech translation, bots, crypto) and businesses (eg: Health, Silicon) for the company. Led by the Chief Product Officer of the AI and R New Experiences and Technologies (NExT) organization, we are a small, very diverse team of cross-disciplinary experts - focused on accelerating and enhancing our organization's capabilities from conception to go-to-market execution. We are looking for an experienced product planner with a strong scientific/technical background and Microsoft product experience for our Healthcare NExT initiative, where they will play a critical role in defining and executing our unique product planning process across our investments in key areas of healthcare (including defining our precision medicine roadmap for investments across immunomics, genomics and
Design and refine the product planning process for product offerings within the healthcare vertical. Lead product planning work going from research to incubation to new product development. Competitive analysis, value prop and business model development, revenue projections and customer requirements Develop what-if scenarios and tradeoff analyses across investment options, partnership opportunities. Drive clarity on investment priorities and deliver business insights that will inform short and long term product roadmap. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in product planning, product management, consulting or related relevant experience. 3+ years of experience building and shipping software. BS/MSc in technical field Preferred Qualifications MD or Graduate degree in Immunology, Biology, Chemistry or some other Science/Life Science degree MBA or equivalent degree Experience driving product and business planning for minimum of one Microsoft product shipping cycle Experience in product commercialization in a technology or healthcare space.
