The Specialized Selection team powers inventory selection decisions across specialized Amazon businesses such as Amazon Books, 4-Star, Prime Now and Pantry. We build science-based models to make these selection decisions driven by signals such as historical search and sales data, inventory procurability, and product substitutability and complementarity. We partner with these specialized businesses across Amazon to apply our expertise in selection decisions to their specific needs. Selection is a focal point for these businesses and the team is driving highly-visible projects across SCOT, Retail and Physical stores. The Specialized Selection Sr. PM-T is responsible for defining the team's product roadmap and managing new and existing stakeholders to make sure we're meeting their needs. This leader is responsible for identifying and prioritizing opportunities to achieve our mission through the design and delivery of model improvements and new technical products/features that span multiple
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Technology · 6+ years of Product management experience in technology or SaaS companies · Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritize, · Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position · Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality· MBA · Experience in supply chain, operations, or logistics
