Amazon is seeking an experienced candidate to develop our growing global supply chain as part of Amazon Global Logistics. The successful candidate will support the launch of a strategic network initiative for AGL. They will partner closely with partner teams in FBA Product, Shipment Planning Systems, and Warehouse Systems groups to understand the developing plans and help design the requirements for the physical operation. Post launch, this PM will develop metrics for oversight
· Bachelor’s degree · Transportation management, customs brokerage, and origin consolidation experience · Significant experience in the management of supplier product flows from a low cost origin to major retail fulfillment markets · 5+ years process management experience · Experience building teams in an ambiguous environment with pressing near-term goals· MBA/MS supply chain-related discipline preferred · Great analytical skills and strong business judgment · Excellent communication skills · Experience with retail consolidation programs · Experience with imports from low cost consumer supplier
