Are you passionate about big data, enjoy solving complex analytical problems, build business intelligence and cutting-edge predictive analytics? Amazon’s HR Risk and Compliance organization is launching a new Risk Analytics and Reporting team that is focused on developing business intelligence to meet HR compliance obligations and support regulator audits. Our projects sort through structured and unstructured data sets to explore the outcomes of HR policies or practices, assess the impact of past decisions, determine the value of future decisions, and identify new areas of importance. We are looking for an experienced and talented leader to build out this vision and manage this team. As the leader of the Risk Analytics and Reporting team, you will partner closely with business and technology leaders to identify and prioritize pay, diversity and employment obligations, formulate analytical and tactical strategies, fulfil regulatory analysis/reporting requirements and identify opportunities

· Advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Economics or related field or equivalent experience · 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, big data analytics, statistical methods and machine learning techniques in products or services businesses · 5+ years of experience leading people analytical teams · Experience in identifying and prioritizing regulator priorities and business questions; using quantitative techniques and available data to deliver solutions to address these priorities and questions · Experience using data analysis, problem solving skills, strategic thinking, attention to detail
