Then come join the Alexa Voice Service (AVS) team, where we believe that Alexa should be everywhere and are passionate about sharing our message with developers and consumers around the globe. We are looking for an experienced and self-directed marketer to help us evangelize the Alexa platform through thought leadership activities at third-party events. This role is responsible for the creation and execution of Alexa programs at global industry events. Alexa is the brain behind Echo, the Amazon device designed around your voice that answers your questions, plays your music, reads the news you care about, checks sports scores or the weather, and much more—instantly. All you have to do is ask. The AVS marketing team is looking for an experienced and self-directed marketer to help us engage in-person with our partner and developers. You will have a history of collaborating and communicating with senior
· Bachelor’s Degree · 7+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably with experience in developer and product or audience marketing· Successful history of defining event marketing strategy and executional excellence · Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done · Strong drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks · Outstanding interpersonal skills: decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate, inspire, and lead cross-functional teams in different geographies and business units
