Fulfillment Operations Team Profile: Training Manager
Job Profile: Training Manager Amazon.com operates in a virtual, global eCommerce environment without boundaries, and operates a diverse set of businesses in multiple countries, including retail and third party marketplaces, eCommerce platforms and web services for developers. The Health, Safety, Security, Sustainability and Compliance (HS3C) group is responsible for ensuring that Amazon meets all product safety and product compliance laws and regulations WW in all the marketplaces that it serves. Roles and Responsibility: This role will formulate and establish the training function for the HS3C department. The responsibilities will include, driving the functional training required by HS3C employees, Fulfillment Operations Teams, Retail teams and vendors/sellers to create the program design and content for all tasks executed in Compliance and for the safe handling of items in the fulfillment centers, the training of existing employees, on-boarding and training new employees, creating self-learning
A completed Bachelor’s Degree 10+ years Management experience in a retail, manufacturing, production or distribution environment Experience leading, teaching, and developing associates and managers to deliver key organizational goals Cross-functional project management experience Process improvement experience Ability to work with ambiguity and drive programs without clear definitions Experience using and communicating performance metrics Ability to travel WW is required Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must Ability to develop innovative ideas for process challenges Masters
