AWS Infrastructure is looking for a talented leader to own the process, analysis and mechanisms we use to drive investments in server infrastructure. This includes models, and associated critical decision-making which enable us to build the future of the cloud at the lowest possible cost. This team will bring together our forecasting models, service owners, finance, and our supply chain planning information to make explicit decisions on how we manage our global server capacity to best hit our business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a building a process and leading a team which will guide the decision making around capacity planning across our server asset portfolio. You will own long range server forecasting and the associated mechanisms to make decisions with those forecasts to secure the most supply at the lowest possible cost. · Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, economics, finance or a related quantitative field. · 8+ years of experience in operations, finance, strategic planning, forecasting· Masters Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration, or related fields. · Proven ability to hire, develop, and manage high-performing analytical and technical teams. · Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
