Amazon Fulfillment Services is looking for a motivated individual with analytical skills and project management experience to join our Inbound Supply Chain Team. In this position you will be responsible for managing programs which improve the flow of materials and information from Amazon’s vendors into our Fulfillment Centers and other downstream systems. As a member of the Inbound Supply Chain Team, you will act as a project manager for several inbound logistics and information technology products working cross functionally with Operations, S and OP, Transportation, Technology, and the Vendors to accomplish key improvement initiatives. You will have the opportunity to do deep dive analyses that support key projects, developing the knowledge of data gathering and navigating the vast Amazon data warehouse. You will be expected to provide data-driven decision support and business intelligence that is timely, accurate, and actionable. You will be required to support continuous improvement
· 7+ years in transportation/ supply chain network modeling, design and network planning. · 10+ years of experience in supply chain with 5+ years of experience with transportation carriers and operations. · 3+ years of experience with transportation management systems. · 3+ years of experience project/ program management. · 4+ years of leading/managing teams of 5+ people. · Proven analytical and ability to use data to manage metrics, drive improvements, and implement business cases. · 5+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel skills. · Proven business judgment to manage financials, manage operations
