The Sr Manager, Dangerous Goods is responsible to develop best-in-class processes and systems, provide management of the Dangerous Goods team, and ensuring compliance. In addition the manager will support initiatives including expansions, continuous improvement initiatives and new technology integrations. The position is located in Seattle, Washington and will works closely with Amazon Fulfillment Operations, Technology, Transportation, Legal, Retail and Amazon vendors. As a high-level summary the deliverables are: · Create robust data quality program to keep pace with Amazon’s business growth and support customer experience tenets; · People management and hiring and developing the best. · Actively seek cross-regional coordination opportunities that improve processes and customer experience; · Support country operational launches and expansions for Dangerous Goods. · Maintain and strengthen regulatory relationships Basic Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree · 7+ years experience managing

Basic Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree · 7+ years experience managing a team of 5 or more direct reports · 5+ years experience with a track record of project deliverables in the regulatory compliance space where improvement is measurable · Experience driving process improvement with technology · Ability to travel internationallyPreferred Qualification · MBA or advanced degree · In-depth knowledge and practical skills in applying Lean Six Sigma (LSS) philosophy and methodology · 7 years of experience in a regulatory compliance environment, preferably retailer experience in a high-volume environment
