Finance Technology team Business Operations Senior
FinTech Business Operations Senior Manager The Amazon Finance Technology team (FinTech) is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Operations. If you are someone whose superpower is bringing order to the world around you and you enjoy working on a team where you can own your direction and innovate, this is the position for you. This position is part of the senior leadership team for our global organization and will report to the VP of the group. FinTech was formed in 2016 to be the technology team that supports the Finance organization as Amazon grows toward a $1 Trillion company. We have over 90 technical teams within FinTech that each have a defined charter and dedicated customer that range in size from 4 to 16 people. This position will partner with these teams to collect data-points around their current work statement, strategic initiatives, metrics and productivity and build processes to aggregate this data into operational initiatives to build team-wide communications, operational metrics,
· 8-12 years of experience that includes some or all of the following: project management, financial planning and analysis, operational development, and lean or six-sigma process experience · Background in metric development, productivity measurements, and project management · Financial analysis including plan to actual analysis, and cost/benefit assessments · 5+ years experience managing a team of project and/or program managers · Your superpowers must include reducing ambiguity by creating efficient, lean processes · Strong written and verbal communication is a must · Strong attention to detail
