The Business Applications Group International Engineering (BAG IE) team is looking for an experienced and dynamic IPE to join its growing team of expert engineers contributing to making Business Applications products global in the Cloud! As part of the centralized Customer and Partner Success business group, BAG IE supports a wide range of Business Application products such as Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Talent, Retail, Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, Mixed Reality apps to name a few. The IPE will work closely with the p roduct and content publishing teams driving globalization and localizability solutions implementation as well as with our external localization supplier to produce world-ready localized versions of our products user interface and content into multiple languages. This position also offers opportunity to engage and work with BAG ISVs/Partners through the Dynamics Translation Service which is developed by our team.
Partner with core and content teams to review features and content publishing systems architecture from an internationalization support perspective, contributing to design. Provide ongoing localizability and globalization support and guidance to core teams' engineers and PMs. Become an expert of assigned features and content systems. Define and drive in partnership with IPM the most suitable localization process for the different product and content systems. Help create and drive the localization planning from an international engineering standpoint. Expert contribution to BAG IE localization engineering
Qualifications 5-7 years of experience working in localization engineering field (software and content). Strong knowledge of localizability and globalization concepts and best practices. Proven experience evangelizing and supporting product and content publishing teams on internationalization. Proven hands-on experience on localization tools and processes and innovation track record. Experience localizing software products and content into multiple languages. Proven experience with global product build processes and validation.
