Our team is looking for an Incident Manager to manage critical and high impact global events and escalations. Incident Managers combine a passion for protecting customers with an ability to think quickly and take decisive action. At Amazon, Incident Managers don’t just put out fires – they also own fixing the problems that caused them. In addition to handling escalations, our Senior Incident Manager will lead technical and nontechnical risk assessments of emerging products and to advise on risk mitigation strategies and control mechanisms to prevent fraud, abuse, and other operational risks that negatively impact Amazon, our partners, and our customers. An ideal candidate will have the ability to work across departments and

3+ years of experience in Enterprise, Strategic, Product or Operational Risk roles performing impact and risk assessments. 2+ years of experience developing policy, plans, and strategy in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and standards in support of organizational activities. Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form. Bachelor's degree (majors in Law, Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field strongly preferred). 4+ years of professional experience in Risk Management, Information Security, or other internal control functions
