The Xbox Console development team is seeking a qualified candidate for a Program Manager to drive and manage the development and enhancements to the Xbox Console and its related subsystems. This Program Manager will join our team of Console Program Managers, working directly with Console Development, Manufacturing, Reliability, Console Test, Supply Chain and our outside contract manufacturers to deliver console solutions for the Xbox product line. The position works closely with mechanical, ID, test, component, reliability, product engineers, and third-party manufacturers.

The Console Program Manager is responsible for scoping and executing programs/projects for console and/or it's subsystems, this will include creating and driving schedules, tracking, facilitating and reporting on program progress, while leading teams to deliver these programs. Candidate will also be responsible to develop and manage the ECR/ECO process for ongoing cost reductions, alternate supplier qualifications and quality improvements in new and existing product lines following the steps outlined in the Microsoft Product Life Cycle.
The following qualifications are a must: • BS/MS in Engineering, Product Design, or equivalent • Minimum of 7 years experience managing complex hardware designs • Experience with design and manufacturing processes • A solid understanding of technical engineering principles and analytical techniques is required • Excellent people and communication skills • Knowledge of the hardware development process, PLC • Knowledge of Bill of Material structuring including related files and change management • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design activities and development schedules The following qualifications
