The Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) Finance team is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst (SFA) to support the Worldwide Selection organization. You will be expected to work directly with a global team of operations research scientists, economists, machine learning specialists, software developers, and product managers who lead the industry in the development of innovative algorithms and optimization strategies to maximize long term profitability of Amazon’s Retail business. You will be responsible for driving controllership, thought leadership and metrics as the organization innovates and creates new approaches to optimizing Amazon’s selection world-wide and across the breadth of Amazon store fronts. · BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias · 3+ years relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results · Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups) · Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results · 2+ years of experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools· MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting
