The Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) will be responsible for providing financial support for fulfillment projects that drive multi-billion dollar fulfillment decisions. This role will work with global transportation leaders, research scientists, project managers, software developers, and global Finance teams. The candidate will help prioritize execution of key technology programs which optimize free cash flow. The successful candidate will have the ability to both audit and provide strategic guidance with respect to our automated fulfillment optimization software systems to continuously improve the economics of the business. The role is located in Amazon’s Headquarters in downtown Seattle. Responsibilities will include: · Directly support the Fulfillment Optimization (FO) technology team, which includes multiple Directors and an organization of over 200 employees. · Advise FO in the development and improvement of automated fulfillment programs/systems
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field is required · Advanced knowledge of supply chain operations including inventory and transportation management. · 4+ years' experience in corporate finance, auditing, or similar field requiring economic analysis. · Proficient in use of SQL· MBA or Masters In Economics, Finance or similar discipline with analytical bias. · Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items · Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, and opaque environment · Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload;
