Amazon seeks an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Automated Marketing Finance team. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, analytical, creative, and have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage the financial responsibilities of a fast-paced business. The Senior Financial Analyst will maintain the ownership and responsibility for driving strategy and analysis for multiple traffic channels, partnering with key stakeholders in the business to evaluate the impact of decisions on the financials, get involved in long and short-term range plans, and support the team with ad hoc strategic projects. This position will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization to align on critical inputs, as well as support channel owners with robust analytical tools and insights.
· Bachelor or Master degree in finance, business, computer science, mathematics, statistics or related field is required · 6 years of experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis· Advanced computer literacy (Excel, Cognos or similar, SQL) · Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented while also seeing and understanding the big picture · Ambition and demonstrated passion for metrics and figures · Strong bias for action including the ability to juggle multiple priorities · Creative and / or business acumen · Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
