Amazon.com is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to support our global Finance organization. Amazon is a global company that continues to invent and deliver products and services on behalf of customers. Our Finance team works side by side with each of our businesses to help us achieve these goals. The Sr. Finance Manager will be the direct finance partner for our CFO and the senior leadership team across the Finance organization. This position will be responsible for business partnering, strategic decision support, financial controllership and fully loaded P and L analysis and related cost reductions for Finance. Leading a current team of four finance professionals, this role will partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to this complex organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the opportunity to fulfill the Amazon motto
· BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field and a minimum 10 years of finance experience, OR master’s degree and 8 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. · Management experience · Project management skills· MBA or MS in Finance or related field · Advanced analytic, financial modeling and reporting skills · Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills · An ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment · Senior level business partnership experience · Proven track record
