Are you passionate about building and leading strong finance processes and influencing teams to execute those processes? The Experiences, Devices, and Gaming group (EDG) is looking for a Sr. Finance Manager to influence core rhythm of the business (ROB) for our Windows products as a member of our Central Finance Controllership team. The EDG Controllership team is responsible for central financial process management, R and D OPEX/CAPEX management, reporting and business intelligence and system infrastructure for the broad diverse set of products that fall into the "More Personal Computing" reporting segment. The More Personal Computing segment represents approximately half of Microsoft's current revenue, across the diverse set of businesses above that span both commercial and consumer channels. This role requires a motivated professional who is able to collaborate with finance partners throughout EDG Finance, Windows marketing, sales finance, and corporate functions. The Sr. Finance Manager

Facilitate the data input and data consolidation for Windows ROB processes, including monthly close, CFO financial reviews, forecasts, scorecards, and long-range planning and budgeting. Create and update key templates/views critical to our reporting cycles. Ensure financial processes are in place and executed effectively to ensure accurate reporting of Devices and to incorporate Windows results into other EDG and Corporate Finance reporting formats. Driving efficient processes and calendaring to meet all Windows ROB requirements, with solid work back plans, clear roles and responsibilities, and
BA/BS in Business with Finance, Accounting, or Business related degree. Advanced business degree and/or relevant certification (e.g., MBA, CPA, etc.) preferred. Minimum 6 years of related accounting or finance work experience in a dynamic, demanding environment. Strong analytical background. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects with tight timelines. Strong communication skills with demonstrated strong performance in business partnership collaborating across teams. Previous experience providing finance
