We are seeking qualified candidates for ECAD Librarian to drive and support various hardware projects at Microsoft Corporation. The successful candidate will be the primary focal point for leading Cadence library development activities, working very close to electrical engineers, Design for Manufacturing and Design for Testing teams, and component engineers to ensure high reliability of the library.

Responsible for developing and maintaining the CAD library including Schematic symbols, PCB footprints Drive Cadence library process – including continuous improvements, quality and turnaround, DFX engagement and integration with design systems Develop Library rules and guidelines Support Electronics and CAD engineers
10 years of working knowledge of design flow process using the following tools: Cadence Allegro, Concept DE-HDL and/or Capture CIS 10 years of Cadence eCAD librarian experience Design for manufacturing and test by following DFM/DFT guidelines, IPC Certified and/or ANSI standards are required. Design for assembly is a plus. Requires strong technical problem-solving skills, managing through ambiguity, organizing and documentation skills Excellent project management, communication and teamwork skills required. Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Or 15 years of relevant experienced
