We are looking for an experienced display engineer to join Hololens display team. This engineer will focus on developing control algorithms for critical display components and subsystems; and bring the display design/algorithm from prototype to production. This engineer will need strong experience in one or more major display technologies such as LBS display, OLED, DLP, and LCD, having the ability to see the big picture regarding key project issues and to lead core technical activities. This engineer will need to collaborate well with Optical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Silicon IC design, and manufacturing engineering in creating innovative displays.

Develop control algorithms for display components and subsystems. Drive HW/SW/FW development. Perform display system analysis; establish system and component correlation and specification alignment. Verify and qualify control algorithms to meet display requirements. Work with cross-functional teams (Si, EE, ME, testing, PD) for product implementation. Support product builds. Evaluate emerging display technologies. Develop and manage key vendor partnerships.
Required A MS or Ph.D. in Optics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering. 5+ years industry experience in one or more display technologies, such as LBS, DLP, OLED, or LCD. Experience in design and modeling tools, such as Matlab, Python, or C/C++. Preferred Experience in bringing new display technologies from design, prototyping, to manufacturing. Fundamental knowledge of color science and colorimetry, AR/VR display optics, and display testing. Experience with statistical analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab. Excellent communication skills for technical presentation and cross-functional collaboration
