The Modern Life and Devices Team defines the consumer vision, product management, business plans and go-to-market strategy for the Modern Life Solution Area and Microsoft's Devices business. As one of the company's largest multi-billion-dollar revenue businesses, the area includes the Windows platform and ecosystem, the Microsoft Surface device portfolio, Office 365 consumer services, Skype, Microsoft's intelligent agent in Cortana and search efforts with Bing, as well as the Microsoft Education Team. To drive business growth and engagement with consumers, we must make smart bets on how to optimize, manage and augment our portfolio of products and underlying capabilities. Creating consumer business strategy and related investment priorities Driving development and articulation of our long-range strategic plans. 5+ years of experience in either strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy / planning or a combination of these is required. 4+ years of experience managing, recruiting and developing teams is required. Experience driving the case for and executing Mergers, Acquisitions and related transactions. Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical skills and problem identification / resolution skills. Experience working across organizational boundaries to drive impact in a collaborative manner. Experience driving clarity and alignment amongst senior leadership teams on
