The AWS Brand and Advertising team is looking for a talented Senior designer join the team. We are seeking an agile designer who understands the intricacies of brand systems, visual design, advertising (digital and print) and UX. Your primary focus will be to design and product concepts, build out AWS brand patterns, and develop visually compelling and trend-leading marketing communications and content. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to create and bring ideas to life that help drive customer engagement for Amazon Web Services, while constantly pushing creative boundaries to create truly impactful experiences for our customers. Strong understanding of foundational design principles and production is critical. In particular a focus in illustration, composition, iconography, digital design, motion and brand systems is desired.
· 7+ years of experience as a visual designer · Experience designing for web and mobile · Knowledge of information architecture, usability, UI and UX Design · Bachelor degree in design or equivalent professional experience required · Online portfolio or design samples demonstrating visual design skills and experience relevant to the role. · Knowledge of typographic principles and design · Knowledge of design and brand principles · Illustration capabilities · Iconography systems · Experience in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects and Sketch · Ability
