Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to problems like forecasting, customer/user segmentation/classification, and fraud detection Understanding the data generated by experiments, and producing actionable, trustworthy conclusions from them Taking complex problems and the associated data and giving the answers in a concise form to assist the team in making key business decisions Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels Use and promote data-exploration techniques to discover new or previously unasked questions Proactively find ways to
Required: PhD in Data Science, Operational Research or related field 3+ years of hands-on experience with data science and analytics in a business context Preferred: Experience with product and service telemetry systems Fundamental knowledge in applied statistics and mathematics: p-values, confidence intervals, regression, classification Experience working independently and as part of a team to traverse tougher analytical questions Experience working with unstructured big data Data hacking skills and knowledge of analytical programming languages like R or Python Enjoy discovering and solving problems;
