As a Sr. CNC Machinist, you will program and set-up CNC machines on multiple platforms. You will fabricate components, fixtures and equipment. Using metrology methods and equipment, you will ensure the parts conform to engineering specifications. You will work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans. Export Control License This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 10 years minimum experience in the following: · Programming and operating CNC equipment including multi-axis mills, lathes and routers · Experience creating 2D and 3D CAD files based on loose specifications · Experience converting CAD files to CAM (G-Code or equivalent) files · Experience in designing jigs and hold-down fixtures in a CNC environment · Advanced working knowledge of GD and T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) with portable metrology equipment · Basic Engineering knowledge: mechanical, electrical, software · Working knowledge of electronic test equipment, hand tools, and metal
