Senior Category Manager – Whole Foods Market, Consumables Private Brands The Amazon Consumables Private Brands team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Category Manager with a healthy obsession for the rapidly evolving world of CPG to join our team and help us change the everyday lives of our customers. The Senior Category Manager will evaluate selection decisions and manage the ongoing P and Ls of the Whole Foods private brand business on Amazon. The ideal candidate would be passionate about bringing the Whole Foods private brand assortment to Amazon and finding synergies in how our various private brand teams collaborate. You have experience analyzing data, driving cost out of the supply chain, and developing new businesses. You enjoy building profitable businesses and getting into the details of a P and L. You have an amazing level of intellectual curiosity, strong financial acumen, a high degree of ownership and integrity, and a high attention to detail. You are an independent self-starter
· Bachelor’s Degree · 5+ years of experience in category management or related field · Experience with a general merchandise retailer or consumer packaged goods company · Experience managing a P and L including analyzing cost drivers and working with supply chain to drive cost out of the P and L · Knowledge of product development process and assessing business opportunities · Strong verbal and written communication skills. Composed, poised and professional demeanor · MBA · Experience working on private brands · Experience working across organizational boundaries with multiple partner stakeholders
