Amazon Fashion is launching a new business for a highly strategic area for Amazon, and reinventing how customers shop for fashion. We are implementing cutting edge ML frameworks and technologies including human-in-the-loop recommender systems, active learning, computer vision, and multi-armed bandits to support a playful and engaging user experience. We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to uncover insights needed to drive recommendation and operational strategies. You will work closely and cross-functionally across Data Science, Engineering, Product Management, User Experience Design, and Operations to build this new shopping experience that helps customers find inspiration and products they will love.
· Graduate degree (MS or equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or a related quantitative field. · 5+ years of relevant experience in Business intelligence or business analytics. · 5+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large data sets. · Experience with managing large and disparate data sources · Familiarity with AWS data solutions such as S3 and Redshift · Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with both technical and business people · Excellent writing skills for presenting business cases and to document
