The IMDb Freedive team is shaping the future of digital video entertainment. Our mission is to build earth’s most customer centric ad supported premium free video service and make it easy for hundreds of millions of customers to enjoy. We have learned that customers love IMDb Freedive so we are looking for a Senior BD Manager who can build on our early success, pioneer new channels for customers, and help define our future. The Senior BD Manager is responsible for leading efforts to identify, secure, and grow distribution via CE companies, MVPDs, TV manufacturers, SOC suppliers, set top boxes, game consoles, and mobile handsets. In addition, the Senior BD Manager will support our expansion plans internationally and help to define a scalable process for onboarding and supporting Tier 1 partners. · Source, negotiate, and execute agreements with key distribution partners globally · Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and articulate the value proposition of IMDb Freedive ·
· Bachelor’s degree or higher · 5+ years in a leadership role in distribution · Deep understanding of digital products and interactive entertainment and established relationships with distribution partners · Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to build strong client relationships · Strong understanding of distribution business models, pricing, and key terms · Track record of success overseeing technical integrations into digital platforms · MBA or Master’s degree · Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage tradeoffs · Excellent communications skills both
