Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. As a Senior Antenna Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to conceive and design innovative products. You will work closely with Project Kuiper’s various sub-teams and engage third party suppliers in order to drive key aspects of product definition, design, optimization, implementation and test. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and integration of reflector antenna systems into products, including: · Design reflector antenna systems for different applications · Work with a cross-functional team, define antenna requirements · Develop scripts to automate and optimize analysis and test tools · Build and test active antenna prototypes and front-end circuits · Collaborate with mechanical and thermal design sub-teams on the integration
· MSc in EE with some RF and antenna coursework or research, or equivalent experience · 7+ years of experience in reflector antenna development · 1+ year of design experience RF building blocks such as filters, hybrids, combiners · 2+ years of experience in RF or antenna test development and execution · 4+ years of experience in antenna simulations using GRASP and CHAMP or tools alike · PhD in EE with antenna-related thesis research · Solid knowledge of antenna fundamental and radiation theory · Proficient with one of the mainstream antenna simulation tools (CST, HFSS,…) · Strong foundations in
