Amazon Web Services (AWS) Growth Strategies team is seeking an Event Manager to manage highly visible third-party and AWS-led events globally. · The Events Manager is an integral part of security and compliance event strategy supporting tradeshows and conferences to drive awareness and content evangelism. · · In this role you will work with the Events team to plan and execute events targeting security and compliance decision makers. Your daily responsibility as a tradeshow/event expert will include working closely with marketing and solutions managers to identify goals, content, and promotion strategy, manage budgets, and coordinate all logistics. You will utilize exceptional project management skills to manage pre-event reviews, communication, post-event follow-up to optimize lead generation opportunities and determine event ROI, and ensuring all stakeholders are working together to deliver a high-quality event. · · The ideal candidate will have a track record of running successful events
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or relevant field of study · 3+ years of relevant experience in event management, event marketing, and project management · A willingness to travel and ability to work independently and autonomously · Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail · A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable marketing results · Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables · Skilled negotiator with proven experience
